Engage Your Taste Buds at Satu’li Canteeen

Satu’li Canteen is a Quick Serve restaurant in Pandora land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. This is not your typical Disney Quick Serve! This Quick Serve offers a variety of healthy options served in actual bowls, not the typical paper plates found at most Quick Serves. The bowls are customized by you: a protein of your choice, base and sauce.

The staff is knowledgeable about food allergies and special diets. I was most interested to try the crispy tofu but was concerned that it could be fried in a common fryer. I was happy to learn that the tofu has its own dedicated fryer so that it stays completely vegan and there is no cross-contamination from other foods! So of course I chose that option as my protein and the red and sweet potato hash as my base. The hash is not fried like traditional hash, instead, it is baked and oh so delicious. The tofu was crispy but not greasy. The only sauce that is dairy free is the Charred Onion Chimichurri – it’s super fresh and delicious!

My meal was so flavorful and so filling that I decided to eat here two nights in a row! On the second night I decided to try a side kale salad which was delicious. Red wine vinegar adorns the kale making it flavorful and fresh.

Satu’li Canteen uses actual bowls, beautiful trays, and stainless steel silverware! The tables are cleared by staff and the staff separates the trash from any leftover food which is composted and used in Disney landscaping.

I highly recommend this Quick Serve at Animal Kingdom Park. It’s affordable, delicious, and healthy with plenty of dairy free and vegan options to choose from.

And while at Satu’li Canteen be sure to visit Pandora. It’s spectacular and must be seen during the day and night for two separate experiences.

Note: I was not paid for this review. All opinions are my own.
