Holidays are always difficult for those with food allergies. If the allergic person attends a holiday celebration, it is imperative that he/she discusses the menu ahead of time with the person cooking. It’s also advisable that the food allergic individual brings a dish safe to eat in order to make sure there actually is food available. Don’t forget to bring your own serving utensil to avoid cross contamination.
