I met The Soulfull Project at Expo East and immediately was drawn to the company’s mission to not only create a healthy, great tasting product, but to have everyone enjoy it. And from everyone they mean those that can afford to purchase the products and those that are struggling to put food on the table. To celebrate National Cereal Day, I’ve teamed up with The Soulfull Project for a fungiveaway! Keep reading to find out more about the mission of this awesome company and how you can win some for yourself!
What is the Soulfull Project?
The Soulfull Project is a company focused on creating healthy and delicious food that’s accessible to all no matter one’s economic or social status. The company works to help people get involved in making their communities better by sharing its food with Food Banks across the country.
What types of products does it offer?
The Soulfull Project sells healthy hot cereals in ready to eat cups and in larger bags. I especially like the cups because they are portable and easy to travel with. When you have a food allergy or specialty diet it’s important to always have easily accessible , safe food and the cups fit that bill.
All of the cereals are vegan and some are also gluten free. Check out some of the flavors: Blueberry Almond Multigrain Hot Cereal and Tart Cherry Multigrain Hot Cereal — two awesome combos! Or Brown Sugar Pecan Multigrain Hot Cereal and Hearty Grains And Seeds Multigrain Hot – both vegan AND gluten free!
What is the company’s mission?
The Soulfull Project makes “good quality, NON GMO, clean label food that tastes amazing. And we’re making it available to everyone—regardless of social or economic status.”
Here’s how The Soulfull Project does that: for every serving of its hot cereal purchased it donates a serving to a local food bank. As it likes to say, “A serving for a serving. Back to your community!”
With more and more families needing assistance and many of those with special dietary needs, it’s a food miracle to have a company do this. Not only is the hot cereal filling, but also nutritious and vegan, and many varieties also are gluten free. ” Our hope is that The Soulfull Project will help make it easy for all of us to have an impact on the lives of our neighbors.”
The Soulful Project is a Certified B Corporation. What does that mean?
B Corp is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee. B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
B Corp members use their business as a force for good in the world- just as The Soulfull Project is doing by engaging people to make their communities better and help feed those in need.
